I’m still left with the omnipotence versus we’re left to our own devices problem. If I take on a project that I believe is in God’s will, and God cooperates with me, how would I explain the project’s failure? God’s cooperation didn’t help much? I misjudged God’s will?
I do believe we should do God’s work, for example in Ps 146 (my favorite), but with no guarantees we’ll succeed in our lifetimes.

My grandfather’s favorite verse from KJV.

Hey Chuck – good points. Perhaps no “success” even after our – or anyone else’s ? – lifetime??? Paz, jerry
